Unincorporated Anza & Aguanga – On Cinco de Mayo, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Riverside County Code Enforcement, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the California Bureau of Cannabis Control personnel served six search warrants. Specifically, the six marijuana-cultivation related warrants were strategically issued on 05/05/2022 for the protection of the land and residents of the local communities.
This search successfully led to the eradication of illegally and unregulated toxic-produced marijuana plants. In all, approximately 3029 marijuana plants and 1242 pounds of processed marijuana were eradicated from several indoor and outdoor structures.
“The goal of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is to keep all of our citizens safe while also improving the quality of life for those residing within the community,” said The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant Anthony Pelato. “Marijuana cultivation negatively impacts the environment in many ways including diminishing and poisoning the water table and pesticides adversely affecting the health of neighboring residents.”
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department has a zero-tolerance policy for these offenses, and looks forward to any information that you may provide.
