Former NFL Running Back Marshawn Lynch Launches Premium Blunt Brand

Former National Football League fullback Marshawn Lynch on Thursday launched Dodi Blunts, a “premium cannabis brand platform” containing THCa “diamonds,” Mercury News reports.

The project is a partnership between Lynch and 2nd and Goal Ventures of Toronto, Canada.

Lynch, four-time All-Pro champion and once Super Bowl champion with the Seattle Seahawks, nicknamed “Monster Mode,” said, “Fans experiencing the first edition of Dodi Blunts will experience the supreme and richest power of the cubes wrapped in palm leaves filled with THCa diamonds and presented in a reusable Blunt tube.”

“And at the end of the day, the industry has the capacity to lift up the black and brown communities – and I intend to lift up those who can. Plus, Dodi lets me share with the world. What I do (and what my family does) in our area so others can rise to my level. ” Lynch said in a statement via 8 News Now.

Before the Raiders left Oakland for Las Vegas, Lynch was caught off-screen lighting the dull flame of Al Davis’ memorial torch. Lynch said, “It was the right thing to do to really send the Raiders to Oakland.” He quit before the team moved to Vegas.

Jeff Goldenberg, Goal’s second and founding partner, told 8 News Now that Dodi Bluntz “challenges the traditional concept of Game Day rituals and hopes to promote and normalize the relationship between sports and cannabis culture.”

“[Dodi Blounts] will begin with the first athlete of Marshawn’s caliber, at a time when all the stars are coming together in Cannes: sport, culture and society, politics and legalization,” he said.

Other former NFL players who have entered the cannabis market include Ricky Williams, Tiki Barber, Eugene Monroe, Joe Montana and Marvin Washington.

Last year, the NFL announced that it was no longer suspending players for positive cannabis test results. Prior to this change, the league had the strictest cannabis policy of the four major American sports leagues.

Following the announcement of Dodi Blunts, many mainstream media outlets, including a subsidiary of Fox News, failed to report on the product launch, falsely claiming that the “diamond” blunts literally contain 24 carats of diamonds.

Perhaps the best offer of all is the Southwest Airlines companion ticket. When you earn 125,000 points per calendar year from eligible sources, you can bring a Southwest Airlines travel companion with you.

Chase is now offering the Southwest Airlines Companion Pass, valid through February 28, 2022, as part of the first bonus offer on all three Southwest personal cards. And they’re also offering points. Specifically, new members can earn a Companion Pass and 30,000 points when they make $5,000 worth of purchases with the card within 3 months of account opening.

I think anyone who lives in the Sud-Ouest – who has received less than five new cards in the past 24 months, who does not currently have a Sud-Ouest credit card, and who has not received a bonus from a card in the past 24 months – should consider this card.

The amazing thing is that the companion flies for the cost of taxes, whether you buy a ticket or even redeem points. That means you can even transfer Chase Ultimate rewards from a Chase Sapphire Preferred card or Ink Business Preferred℠ credit card to Southwest and redeem those points, travel with a companion and even double the value of your points.

It was proposed in 2019, and before that it was really limited.
It’s probably the best deal in the entire travel industry to date, and something we’ve only seen once before in the broadest sense of the word. Before 2019, it was only offered on a very limited basis.

In late 2017, the Companion Pass was offered as part of the Southwest card departure bonus for California residents, as part of a strategy to combat the new force on the west coast of Alaska’s virgin America. At the time, it was considered the best starter pass bonus we had ever seen, but unfortunately the bonus required a California address.

What attracted me (as a non-Californian) to this proposal is that it shows that Southwest is using the Travel Pass as a strategic tool – and therefore, while it is more valuable than anything else in the travel industry, it is unlikely to be abandoned any time soon, which I have long feared because it is just too good.

What I like about Southwest is that they have no point redistribution fees, you can even use your points for speculative bookings. It’s always good to have Southwest points nearby, even if you usually book international reward tickets. You may need a domestic flight to get to the departure city of your international reward ticket. You can also book a Southwest flight, and if it’s possible to attach a domestic award ticket to another ticket, that’s fine because there are no change fees. Southwest points are good insurance. They also don’t charge for the first two pieces of checked baggage.

Which Southwest card should you get?
I think the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority credit card is the best overall value for someone
with Southwest – and someone with a Companion Pass will definitely get it. The annual cost for the card is $149. This includes a $75 credit for Southwest travel and an additional 7,500 points for anniversary travel – each worth at least half the price.

You then get 4 upgrades per year: an A1-15 that you buy at the gate and get credit for it, plus 20% for in-flight purchases with Southwest, such as in-flight cocktails and internet.

And the cost contributes to elite status: 1,500 eligible points for every $10,000 of purchases (up to $100,000 of purchases per year or 15,000 eligible points per year).

Of course, the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus credit card has the lowest annual fee of $69, if that’s your main concern.

What to do with your companion PassSouthwest
Airlines is the largest domestic airline in the United States under normal circumstances. Their route network is more extensive than you can imagine. But they also fly all over the world, to great vacation destinations like Mexico and the Caribbean, and to Hawaii. Of course, Florida and the southeastern United States are also good destinations for air travel.

I have written a detailed FAQ on how to use your Companion Pass. It should answer all your questions.

Can you get a card and figure out how to keep a companion pass.
As a general rule, a personal card and a Southwest Small Business Card from Chase are the fastest way to get a Companion Pass. Of course, all Southwest cards are subject to the “5/24” protection, which means that Chase generally only approves customers who have had fewer than 5 new cards in the last 24 months.

Please note that you are not eligible for the premium if you currently have a Southwest Personal Card or if you have received the premium within the past 24 months.

Compared to other
people on SouthwestFor spending a lot of money on credit cards, I prefer high point bonuses (like the recent 80,000 points offer) to making the Companion Pass part of the initial bonus-because you can spend a lot of money on the card and still earn a Companion Pass, and you also get more points. But it’s the best and easiest way to get a Companion Pass on Southwest Airlines.
