According to local media reports, Cresco labs Inc. (CRLBF) is seeking a $38 million tax break from Ulster County, New York, where it has plans to build a cannabis production and manufacturing site.
The tax breaks include $28 million in property tax relief over 15 years and $10 million in relief on sales taxes for construction materials.
Cresco, which reportedly plans to begin construction in July, said the facility would create 375 permanent jobs.
