A supply agreement between the cannabis suppliers Clever Leaves and FoliuMed enables the export of pharmaceutical-grade cannabis extracts from Colombia to Germany.
BOCA RATON, Florida, USA, March 02, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Clever Leaves Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: CLVR, CLVRW) (“Clever Leaves” or the “Company”), a leading multinational operator and licensed producer of pharmaceutical-grade cannabinoids, has entered into a one-year international distribution agreement with German-Colombian operator FoliuMed Holdings (“FoliuMed”) and its German manufacturing partner Fidelio Healthcare (“Fidelio”). With access to three of Clever Leaves’ pharmaceutical grade cannabis extracts, Fidelio will ramp up production with Clever Leaves’ full spectrum THC raw extract, standardized 20% CBD extract and CBD isolate.
Based on high production standards recognized nationally and internationally, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification from Colombia and European Union Good Manufacturing Practice (EU-GMP) certification from Europe, Fidelio’s production and distribution teams use Colombian cannabis pharmaceutical grade by Clever Leaves to manufacture affordable, oral gelcaps for prescription use by customers and patients in Australia, Europe and Latin America. Soft gel capsules are preferred by patients and doctors as they can be dosed more accurately than the cannabis tinctures available on the market.
