Kelly Uebel, General Counsel at Asurint, joined the filter industry in 2011 after working for several years in the areas of e-discovery, computer forensics and data recovery. In his current role, Kelly leads teams that advise employees on legal and regulatory risks and requirements. This includes providing expertise and monitoring and evaluating proposed and existing local, state, federal and international laws and regulations affecting background checks.

She is also currently the President-Elect of the PBSA, having previously been Secretary/Treasurer of the
and a permanent member of the Board of Directors, where she was the liaison between the Board and the Government Liaison Committee.

Kelly holds a law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, a bachelor’s degree in political science (with a concentration in law and policy) and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. Kelly is admitted to practice law in Minnesota.
